Deep in The Shallows

A silent short created by the Famous Nameless, “Deep in the Shallows” explores gang life in New York City, and how quickly a young person’s life can turn, from peer pressures and neighborhood pressures. The video was a response to having watched another video on the Space2cre8 network from their peers in India about domestic violence, wanting to show them that life in America wasn’t without its challenges. Though clearly a dramatization, the reality of the piece resonated for many of the students at the school, and was frequently viewed and discussed.
